There
are numerous BC Forest recreation sites in this area
with trails linking many of the lakes. The Francois
and Ootsa
Lakes are two of the largest lakes
in this district, and there are several private operators
who offer fishing tours.
From
Francois Lake, follow the Morice River back to Highway
16 at Houston.
It is another 81 km/51 miles back to Burns Lake.
