Fishing
Report: A very popular lake which provides a good fishery
of Rainbow and Cutthroat. Trolling small lures, and spinning gear
seems to be the most popular methods of fishing, and is best fished
in the spring and fall. Engine power restrictions are in effect. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com

Viewscape:
Homes and cottages are visible around the lake as well as campsites
on the road side. Forested hills surround the lake.
Shoreline:
A number of inlet and outlet creeks dot the shoreline. Some areas
have useable beaches, with other areas having forest right to the
shore. The lake bottom consists of sand, fine gravel and some boulders.

Lakes
Echo
and Elbow Lake - Echo and Elbow, located east of Erroch
(just a few miles north of Harrison Mills), are small lakes of
6 ha. (15 ac.) and 14 ha. (35 ac.) respectively. Echo supports
a Cutthroat fishery while Elbow is stocked with Rainbow trout.
Fish are small but numerous.
Dickson
Lake - Dickson Lake is 78 ha. (193 ac.) in size and
lies at an elevation of 651 m. (2135 ft.). Located north of Erroch
(approximately 28 km./17 mi. north of the community of Dewdney),
Dickson contains good numbers of Cutthroat trout and Dolly Varden.
Access is rough and a truck is recommended.
